It's Been Awhile

It has certainly been awhile since I posted. Well I had a nice cross country trip during September in 2011. I traveled from New York City all the way to San Francisco. I had a chance to make a time lapse of our dinner set up for the Green Tortoise. This is how it looks when we made food.

Last night the gym at Lincoln High School had six NBA players. Five were suited up. Everyone knew Brandon Jennings, Derrick Williams, Greivis Vasquez, and Kemba Walker (DNP) would come. Who would have thought Sebastian Telfair and Lance Stephenson would be there...playing?! Before Under Armour arrived I knew the Lincoln alumni were serious. Enjoy the videos. 

Brandon Jennings Plays Hoops In The Hood Of The Bronx - Full Game Video

Last night Brandon Jennings and the Under Armour folks visited Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club - Castle Hill Unit in The Bronx. By far the prettiest community center in the hood of NYC. The gym is lovely and the folks were all friendly. It was a very low key event. Not many people knew about it. Kemba Walker was in a soft-cast boot. That means he is done for the tour. Brandon Jennings suited up and played with the locals. The girl in the video ballin' is Taylor Ford. She signed her letter for University of Syracuse an hour before Jennings arrived. The Speedy Gonzales in the game is Iv Fisher.

Forest Sun and Ingrid Performs For Green Tortoise Passengers

We get to Monroe Utah. Camped at Mystic Hot Springs. A place owned by Mystic Mike. Formerly the Greteful Dead art designer. He brought Forest Sun and Ingrid Serban to play for us under the stars. Who would have thought a personal concert played all of us Green Tortoise passengers?


 

When In Stanford University, Do See The Marching Band

I was able to see Andrew Luck and the Stanford Cardinal play the UCLA Bruins. That kid is the truth! I also saw The Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band LSJUMB. Or the Stanford Marching Band for short. Boy, their donors do make building names more complicated than ever. Here is their have time performance.
